LA APARICION

Fragmento del Diario de Tomas Liddell

Paris 1887
Yo se lo que vi!, y aunque estuviese en piyamas no estaba soñando, era el desfile de un circo, pero este si era mágico, no como el que visitamos el año pasado, con animales enjaulados, muertos de hambre y tristeza.

“Ningún circo haría un desfile a media noche en medio de una ciudad tan peligrosa, debiste imaginarlo cielo, de seguro estabas soñando” alego mamá sin siquiera verme a la cara, (Sabiendo lo mucho que detesto semejante gesto de desinterés cuando le hablo!)

Recuerdo que una linda pierrot me llamaba con sus mágicas manos que desprendía pequeñas estrellas centellantes, seguida de una inmensa caravana con músicos, payasos, malabaristas entre otras cosas fabulosas.
No recuerdo bien la canción que todos felices entonaban, “Nos veremos en el bosque…” me parece que decían en coro, si creo que eso era.

Paris, 1887
I know I saw it! And even though I was in my pajamas, I was not dreaming. It was a circus' parade, but this one was actually magical, not like the one we visited last year, with caged animals, dying from hunger and sadness.

“No circus would have a parade at midnight in the middle of such a dangerous city. You must have been dreaming, sweetie. You surely were dreaming.” said mom, without even looking at my face (and knowing how much I hate such a gesture of disinterest when I talk to her!).

I remember a pretty Pierrot was calling me with her magical hands that emitted small shinning stars, followed by an immense caravan with musicians, clowns, jugglers, among many other fabulous things.
I don't remember the song they happily sung very well. “See you in the woods...” I think they said in a chorus. Yes, I think that's what it was.
